Brody smiled so much! You could tell he was so happy and remembered his Daddy!
When we got back home, Blake had to start prepping for his eye surgery he would have on May 1st. I included a before picture and some after pictures. He was a champ, from the pre-op stuff, like not eating or drinking all morning and putting on his gown and booties, to getting wheeled off to the operating room while Mommy and Daddy walked away...he was stronger than we ever imagined!
Here is a picture of his eyes before the surgery. A lot of people can't tell, but his eyes actually drift wide, especially when he gets tired or is trying to focus on something. We told him the night before that he was going to see the doctor in the morning to get his eyes fixed. We also told him it would hurt afterwards but he would have medicine to make his eyes feel better. He understood somewhat, because he told us the same thing the next morning.
Blake's eyes after the surgery. The swelling went down a lot! He also had bloody tears for a little while, but those went away too. He has really been in good spirits and even ate a big dinner last night. So once again, our strong guy pulls through with flying colors!

I am so happy for you Jenn!! I stayed alone with the boys for only 3 and about went crazy!! So, you are a champ!!!! I thought about you so much, but never knew when to call to catch up and check up on you. So when you get done celebrating Andy being home give me a call!!! We'll be in KC the last week of July, so please try to find a spot for us on your calendar!! We'd love to get together!!! Talk to you soon!! Love ya...
