Brody is in the clear!

So after a stressful last couple of weeks, and various testing, we found out on Friday that Brody does not have cystic fibrosis! We were all so glad to hear that news! He still may have to have a DNA test done just to see if he is a carrier of the gene, but that would be the worst case scenario, so we are very thankful and feel so blessed! We will find out this coming week if he still has high levels of I.R.T. in his blood, but the doctor said even if they are still high, it wouldn't mean anything other than maybe some very mild digestive issues and gas.

Here is a picture of Brody at just 2 weeks old! He is really lifting his head very well! He just can't wait to see the world!

Zoey likes to think she is being protective; I think sometimes it looks like she's trying to steal his breath!

Blake has been having some fun of his own! Here is his new shark tent in our newly finished basement! (Pictures to come of the basement...it was our anniversary present to one another!)


Blake has been asking more and more lately to hold the baby or feed the baby. He likes to show off for Brody a lot, and is a great helper when it comes to burping him!
