...hit the Dewey's hard! Andy is gone for a couple of weeks, so Mother Nature couldn't have picked a better time to flood our basement caused by the 6 inches of rain that Lee's Summit picked up on Sunday. When I got back in town Monday morning, there was nearly 4 inches of standing water in our basement. Lots of things were ruined, the litter box overflowed so that was the hugest mess ever, and I spent every minute I could carrying up items, ruined or not, just to get them out of the water. I want to thank my dad for dropping his work and coming to my rescue, and especially Mark for all of his hard work the last couple of days...I couldn't have cleaned up without ya!
