After celebrating Blake's birthday pretty much every weekend this month, we decided to save the last weekend of October to celebrate Halloween! On Thursday, Blake had a Halloween Pajama Party at school, and said goodbye to his teacher, Miss Janean. The kids wore their pajamas to school, watched Halloween movies all day, ate lots of candy and treats, and painted pumpkins! Blake had a blast and had the worst tummy ache last night! Luckily, he felt all better this morning and was ready to party again! Today, our school had a Trunk-or-Treat party, and Blake and Brody got to wear their costumes and go trick-or-treating in the parking lot! Parents volunteered to park their cars and decorate their trunks to give out candy to all the kids! After a break for dinner, we took Blake trick-or-treating again around our neighborhood, along with Sisarea, his 1-year-old neighbor friend!
Here is Brody very happy to go Trick-or-Treating for the first time ever! Happy 1st Halloween, Brody! Thanks for the pumpkin jammies Gma and Gpa Vroegs!

Daddy dressed as a beach bum/tourist, and Blake was a three-eyed, blue monster! Mommy wore a Rasta man costume, but unfortunately didn't get a picture!

Blake pushed Brody for a little bit, until it was time to get to work! He was so good at actually saying "trick-or-treat", "thank you" and "bye bye" mostly on his own as we stood back and watched!

We told Blake he could have 1 piece of candy before bed...he chose Nerds! (Notice how smart he is; picking 1 box that has many more pieces inside!)

After a fun night, it was time to go night-night!
Happy Halloween! Hope everyone had a safe night!
